Dear NCED Certificate Holder,
We’re excited to announce that NCED’s new Professional Liability Insurance benefit is now available!
This valuable new certificate holder benefit has officially been added to the accounts of eligible Professional Certificate Holders.
Please note: This announcement is being sent to both Professional and Retired Certificate Holders. Eligibility for the insurance benefit depends on your current certificate holder status and program eligibility requirements.
Current Professional Certificate Holders
If your Professional Certificate is current, log in to your NCED account today to review your contact information for accuracy. It is essential that your address, phone number and email is up to date. An insurance tab has been added to our webpage where you will be able to access your insurance information. This tab will be updated in the next couple of weeks to allow you to access your certificate of insurance, explore the optional coverage upgrade, and learn more about the protection now available to eligible Professional Certificate Holders.
Not Current? It’s Not Too Late!
If your Professional Certificate is not current, you are not eligible for this benefit. The good news is that it’s not too late to renew!
Simply log in to your NCED account, select Fee Payment, and renew your Professional Certificate to restore your active status and eligibility for this valuable new benefit.
A Note for Retired Certificate Holders
Retired Certificate Holder status is intended for individuals who are not currently employed as a professional educational diagnostician, nor performing the duties, roles or responsibilities of an educational diagnostician for remuneration as defined in the Retired Status section of the bylaws. Because this insurance benefit is designed to protect practicing professionals, it is not included with retired status.
If you have returned to professional practice and would like to explore returning to Professional Certificate Holder status, please contact NCED. We would be happy to discuss your eligibility and assist you with the process.
For complete information, including eligibility requirements, coverage details, and optional coverage enhancements, please review the insurance materials available on our webpage.
Thank you for your continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of the educational diagnostician profession. We are proud to offer this new benefit as another way NCED supports its Professional Certificate Holders.
Sincerely,
NCED Board of Directors
