When I attended the Council for Educational Diagnostic Services (CEDS) and the Louisiana Educational Diagnosticians’ Association (LEDA) Conference on September 24 and 25, 2015, I participated in the one hour session “Instrument Selection: Does it Really Matter” presented by Jessica Rueter. She provided research data collected through a study that her and her colleagues conducted on the instrument selection process and whether the instruments that Educational Diagnosticians choose make a difference in the evaluation process.
