In this research, the authors analyze the effect of writing interventions on writing skills in children with LD. The writing process is difficult for the students with LD and often their final product lacks coherence, clarity, and purpose. The researchers concluded that four of the writing interventions, such as strategy instruction, dictation, goal setting, and process writing showed significant impact on the writing quality. However, they also suggest that with only 43 studies reviewed, there is a need for more research in this area.
